The Chair
The Chair was originally designed by HAHA to aid the recovery of a stunned brain from a stun stick, by mimicking motor functions, and thus provide a stimulus. It took the time it takes for a full recovery, down from three days to one and a half. It is called 'The Chair' as it looks like one when not in use, as it is kept in the sitting position. Once a patient is siting on it, it clasps around their body, like a suit in reverse. Once secured the person inside is moved about. In order to prevent harm, the head is covered in sensors by a 'head piece' in order to detect any pain or discomfort in an unconscious patient.
Iron Wall
The Chair is a tool, and like any tool, bad people can use it for harm. Iron Wall used it as a torture device, moving people to positions they couldn't normally do, such as the splits, or to simply hold people in positions that are instinctively vulnerable, such as being bent over. Iron Wall also modified the head piece to use the illegal technique of Direct Input Neural Electrical Recovery (DINER), where electrical charges are applied to a dead body's brain, to provide artificial localised electrical life, to literally make the dead speak. The process destroys the pathway and the best anyone ever got was the single word 'no' before the body was 'untenable', but Iron Wall tried to refine the process.
Not to be confused with the Belter political leaders, who are referred to as 'Chairs'.
